I know it's been ages since we've last spoken. I found pictures of the times we went & saw random things in England and I realized how much I miss talking to you!

Wow, what a phenomenal story--thoroughly engaging. I usually avoid modern versions of Pride and Prejudice, but yours was ingenious. Your writing had a way of totally pulling me into the story. Thank you for being so generous with your talent.

Sorry to be behind everyone else, but I am fairly new to JAFF. I loved this story! I used to be a bit of a car buff, Road and Track subscriber in the 80's, but haven't kept it up, although I do drive a Z4. I admit I didn't know all the cars but enjoyed the photos immensely and only needed the glossary for Stig and Haynes. One of my students did a work term at Koenigsegg, which are a really interesting company. Did you do the photos yourself? How did you get access to all the locations?
The story itself was really lovely. I can't think of one thing that I could suggest to improve it. Even though I had anticipated HMS, I like it better the way you ended it. Great judgement. Also you did an excellent job of the first person and switching narrators. I'll be sure to read more of your work!

Greatest fairy tale ever! I loved it- I suspected that Elizabeth would have to be pregnant before the curse was broken. Thanks for writing!

I knew you wouldn't disappoint! Your ending was happy and wonderful. In love and parents to a growing family is just the way E&W deserve after all these years-thanks for rewarding all their suffering! I did love this story from start to finish. Happy birthday to a talented writer who has given me so many hours of reading pleasure! And now of course I must ask what's next...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY dear Heather!!!
What a treat it was to read this final chapter today! I enjoyed the little bit of alpha male jealous William we saw ;-) and having the photos taken of the house did pull some story strings together - very nice!
I loved the fairy tale ending - and in fact I loved every line of the whole story. Thanks very much for writing it and sharing it with us.
What's next on the writing agenda? - Because I will miss EF and be craving something new from you very soon.
Have a lovely birthday!

I was wondering the same thing. Would Elizabeth need to safely deliver a child for the curse to be broken? With her survival the curse ends? Poor William having to go through a pregnancy knowing that is what ended his first wife's life!
Of course ... since this is eternal ... is it possible that the curse extends to Elizabeth? Perhaps she now shares the curse of eternal life? Has she stuck herself with anything yet?
In some ways I hate that it is time for an ending, however I need to know how this plays out for them!Reply: Ahhh. Endings are always the most difficult part for me. Getting those last few hundred words out is like pulling teeth. Some of the best story endings, for me, are those where you wish it would continue. (hence the saying: always leave them wanting more) For EF I did try to show a little something to give you a hint of how things would be in the future, but I also think this was the right place to stop.
I'll find out soon whether anyone agrees with me.
